Getting a facelift: renovation work of Kalyana Pushkarini, also known as ‘Pedda Koneru’ in Mangalagiri of Andhra Pradesh has been taken up together by the Endowments Department and the temple authorities at a cost of around 1.5 crore. The pond was built in 15th century by Timma Rajaya, successor of Krishnadevaraya.
