Panch Pandava Pahar

Panch Pandava Pahar is a group of five hillocks, situated at Bishunpur Block of Gumla District in Jharkhand. According to a local legend, the Pandava brothers and Draupadi lived here during the 13th year of their exile from Indraprashtha. There are certain extraordinarily large stones found here. Villagers believe that utensils used by the Pandavas have turned into these stones. There’s a small temple-like structure here, which is believed to have been built by the Pandavas. According to a local belief, water offered in this temple ensures good rainfall in the entire area.
