Tiger Population Roaring






India almost doubled its tiger population between 2010 and 2018, four years ahead of the global target set for doing so, according to All India Tiger Estimation report.



Released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, the report recorded 2,967 wild tigers in 2018 as compared to 2,226 in 2014, a jump of 33% in Tamil Nadu, the 2010-2018 growth was 62%.
