A scene from ‘Duryodhanavadham’ Paavakathakali (glove puppet Kathakali) organised by the Thripunithura Kathakali Kendram as part of its golden jubilee celebrations. Paavakathakali performers from Andipandaram community belong to Paruthippully village in Palakkad. Though they had migrated from Andhra Pradesh and settled in Kerala, their mother tongue continues to be Telugu.
