Meeting ground

Waterhole: The sprawling paddy fields of Kodinhi, near Tirurangadi, in Malappuram district have become a favourite foraging ground for large flocks of winged visitors.

Among the birds seen are Whiskered terns, Purple Swamphens, Asian openbill, Grey herons, Egrets, and Little cormorants.
