Kashmir artisan Farooq Ahmed shows a mat created by blending traditional Kashmir art with the nuno felting technique from Australia, in Srinagar on Sunday.

Nuno felting is a technique that bonds loose fibre, usually sheep’s wool, into a sheer fabric such as silk, creating a light-weight felt.
